Water Rescue USA
Lifeguard Rescue Reporting System – USA
We host a reporting system to gather information about how lifeguards respond to all types of water-related incidents on the job. The goal is to help training agencies learn more about what actually is taking place when lifeguards are called upon to respond to an emergency, such as conditions at the time of the rescue, how the lifeguard identified the emergency and the type of equipment used in the rescue.
For Single Rescue Entry
Presented in a multiple-choice format, the survey is anonymous. To access the reporting system CLICK HERE. The survey will be available until further notice.
For Multiple Rescue Entries
Presented in a multiple-choice format, the survey is anonymous. You will enter a number for each of rescues made in a category, hundreds of rescues ban be recorded with just one entry. To access the reporting system CLICK HERE. The survey will be available until further notice.
A template of the reporting system is available to preview HERE.
The American Red Cross, the United States Lifesaving Association and other agencies encourage lifeguards who have responded to an aquatic emergency to complete this survey as soon after the incident as possible. This information can have an impact on how lifeguards are trained in the future.
