The Anatomy & Physiology Placement Exam is an online assessment tool used to place qualified students in EXER 2168 Anatomy & Physiology I and EXER 2168L.

The exam consists of 50 multiple choice questions and may be attempted 2 times. You must wait a minimum of 3 days between your first and second attempts.

You have 50 minutes to complete the exam.

Lockdown browser with webcam and screen monitoring are required.

A score of 40 or higher will qualify you to enroll in EXER 2168 Anatomy & Physiology I and lab, pending seat availability.

If you score below 40 on your second attempt, or if you score below 40 on your first attempt and do not retake the exam, then you will register for one of the prerequisite courses: EXER 1100, BIOL 1110, BIOL 2120, CHEM 1200, CHEM 1203, CHEM 1251.  You must earn a C or above in the pre-requisite course to move on to EXER 2168 and EXER 2168L.

The anatomy placement exam is not required. Students can choose to take the placement exam. A score of 40 or above OR completion of one of the prerequisite courses (EXER 1100, BIOL 1110, BIOL 2120, CHEM 1200, CHEM 1203, CHEM 1251)  qualifies students to register for EXER 2168/2168L.

Please note that taking the Anatomy & Physiology Placement Exam does not guarantee a seat in EXER 2168 or EXER 2168L. Scoring 40 or above on the exam: (1) does not guarantee a passing grade in EXER 2168, (2) does not guarantee admission into the Exercise Science degree program, and (3) does not award any course credit. The exam is designed solely to assess if you are ready to enroll in EXER 2168, or if you first need to take a pre-requisite course.
